Food - Good

Nice village pub with a big B&B across the road. Beer served straight from the cask. This old pub is worth a visit but in the summer the tables are often fully booked for food. Stu 7/10 Aug 2000

Good village pub with a good atmosphere, bar staff and locals were friendly. Cosy and restful feel to the place, with a nice fireplace. Nice to relax with your pint by a warm fire. John 8/10 Sept 97

A very pretty exterior with window boxes and tubs. Lovely paintings of village on walls and large bar along whole length of pub. Locals and dog seemed very comfortable. My one criticism is the no smoking food area is too large (and of course, empty) but otherwise a very pretty pub, with stone fireplace and brasses, coalscuttle etc round it. Sue Sept 1997
