Local’s pub in largish town with a wind farm and quarry. Nice collection of whisky bottles and jugs. Did not like the TV in lounge area much but friendly and pleasant landlord. Sue Aug 1997

You drive by a wind farm to get to this pub. What a blott on the landscape they are! (The wind farm that is!) Pubs with whiskey bottles and jugs along with the usual St Austells bric-a-brac. Pleasant pub with a quiet atmosphere. John 6/10

Just to the south of Carnon Downs bypass on the A39, heading for Falmouth, take a left. It used to be called the Devoran Inn until recently. This pub is has a small restaurant area and a drinking area. Small bar but good food. Don’t miss the currys on the back of the menu. I did for the first few visits! If you want to burn off the food, then have a walk along Devoran quay. Stu 7.5/10 Dec 2000.
